New Year’s Eve Family Activities

  • The Houston area has a lot of New Year’s Eve Activities that the whole family will love!

    Houston’s Rockin’ New Year’s Noon Bash For Kids (10am-6pm): 

    The Children’s Museum of Houston’s is the city’s longest- running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids! When the clock strikes noon there will be a parade and countdown with a ball drop.  After the ball has dropped stay for the after party with a DJ!

    Houston’s Theater District: 

    The fun kicks off at 7 pm. Kids will love the magician, and the DJ. Adults will be entertained with The Tontons, Broadway Sing-A-Long, and The B-52s. Don’t miss the fireworks at midnight!

    Sugar Land Town Square:

    There will be Children’s Celebration from  7 p.m. – 9 p.m.  There will be street performances, entertainment with a DJ for kids, and finally, the Fireworks Finale at 9 p.m. If the kids are up for it, then stay to watch the 3D Midnight Show with Fireworks.

    Kemah Boardwalk: 

    Come enjoy the family celebration on New Year’s Eve in Kemah! It features live entertainment, family fun, and fireworks at 10 p.m.

    New Year’s Eve at The Aquarium: 

    The New Year’s Eve bash will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3:30- 6:30 p.m. in the Nautilus Ballroom at the Downtown Aquarium. There will be a kid-friendly buffet, balloon drop, and a bird show.
